Returns and Refund Policy

At The Bad Tag Crew, we want you (and your pet) to be happy with your purchase. If something isn’t quite right, here’s how returns and refunds work.

Returns

You can return your item within 30 days of purchase, provided it is unused and returned in its original packaging.

Return postage costs are the responsibility of the customer. We recommend using a tracked service, as we cannot be held responsible for items lost in transit.

Refunds

Once your return has been received and inspected, we will notify you and process your refund. Refunds will be issued to your original payment method within a reasonable timeframe.

Faulty or Damaged Items

If your tag arrives faulty or becomes damaged due to a manufacturing issue, please contact us as soon as possible with a photo and your order number. We’ll work with you to resolve the issue.

90-Day Tag Warranty

All tags come with a one-time 90-day warranty. If your tag cracks, chips, or wears down unexpectedly within this period, we’ll replace it. Just email us with a photo of the tag and your order number, then send the tag back to us.

(Yes — we’re aware of AI image fakery, which is why returns are required before replacements are issued.)

Wear & Tear

Normal wear and tear is expected over time, especially for active pets. Scratches, fading, or signs of regular use are not considered faults. Please use common sense when requesting a return or replacement.

Engraved Tags

As all engraved items are personalised, we are unable to accept returns unless the product is faulty or has a manufacturing defect.
